How does it work?

Once you sign up you'll be automatically enrolled in the fifth cohort of From Fundraiser to Freelancer! Woot! You'll be sent access to the Private Members Only Facebook Group which is a safe space where you can chat to me, ask questions and access the session replays and worksheets.

There will be a poll set up in the Facebook Group for you to vote for your preferred session date & time. There will be two date & time options given for each module. This is the fairest way to ensure the most people can come to the live sessions. The session worksheets will be shared in the group ahead of our live sessions. They'll also be emailed to you.

What do I get?

• 6 one hour live and interactive group training sessions and 2 x 30 min 1:1 session, just you and me.
• You get downloadable written worksheets which accompany the sessions.
• Lifetime access to a private Members Facebook Group where you can find answers to your questions, network and share freelancing opportunities.
• Contract and proposal templates which you can download and use for your own work.
• Lifetime access to the replays so you can rewatch anything you've missed or if you want to redo the course at a later stage. This includes any future module additions! (There have been 4 additional modules added since I launched last year)
• Unlimited access to me throughout the course via the Facebook Group or DM to ask any questions or sense check things as you find your feet in your new Freelance world.
• A special opportunity to continue working with me 1:1 until you're up and running in your first Freelance career.

When and where do the classes take place?

The live sessions are one hour in duration and will take place in Zoom. We will kick off with Session 1 the week commencing 10 February 2025. The replays will be emailed after for you to watch back anytime you wish.

The classes are spread out every 2 weeks. We will give you as much notice as we can of the next class date and if you can't join live you can still join in your own time and post your questions in the Facebook group that I will personally answer!

To make things as simple as possible I always run the live sessions during lunch hours (between 12pm & 2pm) so even if you're working in an office, you can use your lunchtime to join. Eating lunch is welcome!

You can keep your camera on or off, whatever you're most comfortable with.

Your 2 x 30 minute 1:1 sessions will be scheduled by you via a Calendly link and are to be taken before the end of April 2025.

Can you guarantee I will find freelance work/have a successful freelance career after attending this course?

Whilst I can't guarantee that, what I will say is, you will feel FAR BETTER prepared to start freelancing quicker than if you were figuring it all out alone. It's taken me years to learn everything I will be teaching you during this course. That means you'll be set up and earning money way quicker. You wouldn't enter a marathon and turn up on marathon day without any prep, training or expert guidance. When we get the foundations strong, everything we build on top will be stronger.

✔I've had members create brand new courses, services and consultancy packages after finishing the course and go on and be really successful with more than enough work to support them for several months ahead.

I believe that if you fully lean into the work, attend the sessions, do the homework and be open to learning and seeing things differently, you will be successful.

At the end of the 6 sessions, you will receive a members only (ie. money off!) opportunity to continue working with me until you're fully up and running in your first freelance role, however long that takes and whatever stage you're at.

What if I can't make the live dates, how can I watch the training?

You'll have lifetime access to the training in the Members Facebook Group. You'll also be emailed the replays.

How much do I have to participate?

I fully believe in "the more you put in the more you get out" concept. And I think you'll have more fun if you join the Live sessions and get to know your fellow Members.

There's 6 x 1 hour sessions plus the 2 x 30 min 1:1 sessions and written exercises to complete on the accompanying worksheets. You can also ask questions of the other members in the Facebook Group. I'll also be checking in day to day to answer questions and keep you on track.

Once you're signed up you'll have lifetime access so you can repeat the whole course again or dip in and dip out as you wish.  

Does my location matter?

The training is 100% online so you can be anywhere in the world (as long as you have an internet connection!). The times of the live classes will usually be between 12pm & 2pm (BST/GMT depending on time of year). We've had people joining from Spain, France and Thailand!

Does my job role matter?

Although this course has been created with the Charity Sector in mind; anyone who wants to move out of Employment into Freelance will benefit from signing up.  You do not have to be a Fundraiser! 😉

I've never invested in a course before

I remember the first time I paid a significant amount (we're talking thousands) to sign up to a course that was going to help me build something I hadn't yet created... like even BEFORE I'd started generating the income.

But here's the thing... There is huge power in the actual act of investing in yourself. It's not just about the education, the structure and the community you'll get inside this programme (although you'll get all that too). You'll have skin in the game.

There's a saying: People Who Pay, Pay Attention. Because you literally have a vested interest in the outcome. You will show up differently and you'll be ready to take action faster. When you invest in yourself, you're carving out new neural pathways in your brain that are changing your beliefs... beliefs around self worth, capability and competence. You're proving to yourself you're serious about this new path and direction you're taking.

I'm not sure now is the right time

I get it. But you've read this far for a reason. Only you know if now is the right time for you.

What I will say is, I wish there'd been a course like this when I was starting out because it would have saved me a lot of time and energy and sleepless nights. The difference it would have made to my work is huge. The amount of time I wasted worrying about how to sell myself, how to price myself, whether I was going to earn any money, whether I had the right experience or skills, whether my clients would understand what I was selling...

And each 'no' I received knocked my confidence further. The silent cost of inaction whilst you try and figure things out alone, go round and round in your head, is constantly mounting.

This course will fast track you to start making more impact, more money and start living the life of your dreams. Less stress, more freedom, more time to spend on projects that light you up and flexibility to spend time with your loved ones. doing the things that matter most. ✨
